In their line of work, Inquisitors often require the talents of an experienced Psyker. They can, of course (and often do) requisition support from the Adeptus Astra Telepathica. While these Psykers are reliable warriors, they often lack the imagination and adaptability of an unbound Psyker. As a result, Inquisitors often look elsewhere for those quick-witted and self-taught wyrds who have somehow slipped through the monstrous bureaucracy of the Imperium. These individuals will often use subtle psychic powers in their day-to-day lives, but will revert to a more blatant psychic barrage when they go to war. Indeed, their power will increase drastically when they are united with fellow Psykers.
