The best use for Caradryan is charging the biggest, toughest thing in the enemy army. Even if he fails to win the combat, the Mark of Asuryn will ensure he takes his enemy with him. It's obviously preferable that the unit he is fighting is worth more points than he is. If no such uber foe presents itself then Caradryan will be just as effective leading a unit of High Elves.
